Carrie Barron

I am a Rye, New Hampshire-based real estate agent who has lived on the New Hampshire coast for many years. I love this beautiful area and my enthusiasm for, and knowledge of, this region has greatly enhanced my ability to sell homes here. Selling real estate is also in my DNA, as my family owned Barron Real Estate in Salem, New Hampshire for many years. I actually bought my first house at age 25 and was immediately intrigued by the buying and selling process.

I did not immediately pursue real estate, however. After college, I worked as an event manager at the University of New Hampshire, then became an adjunct professor there. Later, I started my own business, New England Expos, producing highly successful events at the Whittemore Center and the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine. These experiences gave me valuable skills in marketing, social media, and negotiating.

Producing the home shows reminded me of the special relationship we have with our homes, and I decided to explore a career in real estate. After selling New England Expos to a multi-million dollar company, I joined the Bean Group and became a Licensed Real Estate Agent. Being in real estate already feels like coming home and I’m thrilled to be doing this job in an area I love.

On a personal note, my partner, Ryan, and I are both animal lovers and active in rescue work and fostering. In fact, we share our home with several disabled kitties. Because of our love for animals, and our awareness of the great needs experienced by shelters, I make a donation to a local animal nonprofit organization with every home that I sell. It’s my way of giving back in thanks for all that my animals have given me.
